Ever noticed how some car parks are putting measurments in contenental measurments only.
I know my van is 6ft 10inches tall, havn't a clue in foreign measurements.

6' 10" is 2.0828m If you need to convert there's a web site at http://www.simetric.co.uk/feet_to_metres.php that'll do it for you (both ways).

One of the most useful pieces of FREE software can be found at:

http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/

You can use it to covert almost anything into almost anything else.
